Modular Designed Seal
- The single seal (primary seal).
- The tandem seal, which has a primary seal and a check seal.
- The double seal, which has a primary seal and an outboard mechanical seal.
All three styles are identical from the outside
- Reduced inventory (internal parts are interchangable for all three seal styles).
- The major components are the same for all seal styles.
- Sleeve adapter designed to protect the seal faces against physical shock.
- Face retainer can be hardened depending on application, standard recommendations are 316SS, SAF2205, SAF2507 and Hast 'C'.
- Rotating faces are friction drive (opposed to pin drive). This is to eliminate failure due to shock loading.
- Shrouding designs are available.
- Springs are protected from product, being less prone to hang up.
- Bolts up to standard.
- Warman seal adapter plates.
- Re-useable setting tabs.
- This design allows for in house dynamic testing.
- Tested to API 682 standard with test certificates free issued.
- All refurbished seals are static tested.
- All spares are stocked; allowing for fast turn around of refurbishments and repairs (subject to prior use/ sale).
- Engineering and commissioning support is readily available.
- Seal support systems and other accessories are designed to suit the specific area details.
