In late 2004 it was realised that WCIS was becoming increasingly involved in rotating equipment, supplying mechanical seals, pumps and pump spares. To give the specialist attention this area requiresTOTALSEAL™ was established as the rotating equipment sealing division of WCIS.

A dedicated mechanical seal service facility was added, along with a Service Manager and a Reliability Specialist.

Goro Nickel project (New Caledonia) –
Management of all mechanical seals across site including 18 HPAL autoclave agitator seals, 18 high pressure heater feed pump seals & over 400 other mechanical seal applications.

Contract includes service, supply of spares & complete seals, reliability improvement, training & management to agreed KPI's. Design, engineering & supply of autoclave feed pump mechanical separators & valves. Design, engineering & supply of fabricated titanium components, complete with ti-nitride coatings. Design, engineering & supply of gaskets across whole plant.

Murrin-Murrin Nickel-Cobalt project (WA) –
Commissioning, service management & continuous improvement of over 70 large diameter (6"+ shaft) agitator mechanical seals across 4 HPAL & 8 reduction autoclaves & 12 large H2S reaction vessels Design, supply & continuous improvement of autoclave feed pump mechanical separators & other pump components.

Bulong Nickel Project (WA) –
Commissioning & service of HPAL autoclave agitator sealing systems. Service & upgrade of refinery mechanical seals & reduction autoclave agitator seals.

Ravensthorpe Nickel (WA) –
Service & upgrade of HPAL autoclave agitator seals & high pressure slurry seals. Design, supply & continuous improvement of autoclave feed pump mechanical separators & other pump components.

Sepon Copper (Laos) –
Service & upgrade of POX1 autoclave agitator mechanical seals & support systems. Design, commissioning & service of POX2 autoclave agitator mechanical seals & support systems.
