Weldstop and Graflex protective fabrics will protect up to temperatures in excess of 1,000 degrees Celsius. Insulation materials are available for a wide range of applications such as insulation mattresses and our Fireblanket fabrics are widely used across industry.

a) Clutch Yarns
TBA® has comprehensive technical yarn production facilities including the unique Dref core and sheath spinning process. The versatile Dref spinning process incorporates glass and metallic cores for strength and heat dissipation properties. It produces yarns with excellent strength and controlled resin absorbency properties.
- Fibre choice: Glass, aramid, pre-oxidised acrylic, viscose, acrylic and others as required
- Yarn type: Conventional, texturised, Dref (core and sheath construction), wrap spun, single or plied
- Count range: (Tex g/1000m nominal) 200-2000 singles, up to 10 plies
- Wire inclusions: Copper, brass, zinc, stainless steel, inconel®
- Yarn package size: (3kg nominal) or as requested by customer to machine limits up to 6kg

b)Woven brake linings
TBA® produce a wide range of woven brake linings on dedicated modern rapier looms that are capable of producing consistent quality belting. These belts are constructed using TBA's® high quality Dref spun yarns. Individual data sheets give more details of compositions.
